Dear CatholicVote Friend, I AM THE CATHOLIC VOTE

We have an exciting new video project underway and we want you to be in it!

Star in a new CatholicVote Election 2010 commercial coming this fall.

During the 2008 presidential election, several dubious organizations garnered media attention by claiming to be the voice of “Catholic voters,” while constantly undermining the Church at every turn.

They had spread confusion about the moral principles taught by our Church, and represented themselves as the authentic voice of Catholics to voters across America.

In essence, they created confusion by pretending to be you – the Catholic vote.

So here’s your chance to speak for yourself.

We want to show the world the real Catholic vote! And we want you to star in the next CatholicVote commercial.

Here’s how it works:

1. Send us your name and mailing address. We will mail you a “I AM THE CATHOLIC VOTE” campaign sign immediately. You can reply to this message or send an email to ivote2010@catholicvote.org.

2. Create a custom message for your sign. Write down a reason why you believe the Catholic vote matters. Is it to defend life? To protect marriage? We are the conscience of America? Be creative!

3. Take a video or photo. We want to show the faces of the Catholic vote active in every major city and small town, in public and private places, in historic and unknown corners of our country -- everywhere the Catholic vote lives, breathes, and prays. Get your friends together and have some fun. Be as creative as you can (just don’t break any laws and be safe!).

4. Send your completed HD video or photo to: ivote2010@catholicvote.org. The most creative videos and photos will be included in our “I AM THE CATHOLIC VOTE” commercial to be released this fall.

Here’s your chance to tell the world exactly what you think. Help us show the world what the Catholic vote really looks like!

Sincerely,

Brian, Josh, Kara, Pat, Thomas and your CatholicVote Team

solo aquella vaga esperanza
